Emma Donoghue’s ‘Room’, Paul Murray’s ‘Skippy Dies’ and Tana French’s ‘Faithful Place’ have been nominated for the 2012 Impac Prize.  The books were nominated by 20 libraries from around the world and there are 147 novels on the longlist.  All of the above are here in the library as are Jonathan Franzen’s ‘Freedom’; Michael Cunningham’s ‘By Nightfall’; Willy Vlautin’s ‘Lean on Pete’; Jaimy Gordon’s ‘Lord of Misrule’; David Mitchell’s ‘The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet’ and David Grossman’s ‘To The End of the Land’
