The wonderful Deirdre Sullivan has won the award with ‘Tangleweed and Brine‘ – Yaay!

Of course, it’s in SACLIB along with her ‘Prim’ series.

 

The great American writer who scandalised his readers has died.  He has been described as one of the greates writers of the 20th Century.

The first novelist to win the Costa Book of the Year prize TWICE, Sebastian Barry, has been nominated as the new Laureate for Irish Fiction 2018-2021.  He succeeds the wonderful Anne Enright.
