Ferdia Shaw will play the criminal mastermind, Artemis Fowl, in the Disney adaptation of Eoin Colfer’s novel.


David Grann’s best-seller will be coming to a cinema near you soon.  The film is one of the Irish Times six of the best films to see this weekend. The book can be found in the non-fiction section of the Library at 918.11046.

Maze Runner, the movie, has topped the US box office. But, is it as good as the book????

Director Peter Jackson has launched a 10 minute ‘prequel’ to his Lord Of The Rings trilogy. Critics have been, well, critical of his decision to shoot at 48 frames per second instead of the usual 24 frames.  Judge for yourself by clicking on the link to the BBC report.
