Make Your Own Comics

Comic Master – recently included in the AASL list of Best Websites for Teaching and Learning. Students can create their own short graphic novel, add backgrounds, create characters and add dialogue. Suitable for 1st and 2nd Year students.

Pixton – a graphic and comic-novel creation site. Students can create a single row traditional comic strip or they can move to the advanced manga style. Requires e-mail sign in for individual users. A fee based system allows librarians and teachers to set up an account for up to 50 students in a group.
